Well this came as a surprise, even to us.

We were readying our new album. It’s really close. It’s mastered. There’s artwork and videos. Then the current situation occurred and for obvious reasons the breaks were slammed on.

So we were sat in our respective homes with more time, more energy. We did what we could to keep busy and file swapped like mad people on a mission. Before we knew it we had written an EP. What better way to celebrate finishing our album, by putting out an entirely unrelated release.

It’s important to note that this is not art as a response to the current situation. Of course it’s woven into the narrative of the EP being created but it is not ABOUT the situation. It is four people celebrating the extra time given to them and each other’s talents. It is music for sitting with your family, your pets and your plants. It is about the gifts that can be found in shitty holes and it is about how inescapable those shitty holes can feel, but it is not about what is dominating the news cycles right now.

In short it’s a confused, babbling grasp for something beautiful -and we think that’s worth sharing.

We promise that album is on its way -hold tight...and hug even tighter.
